Ledger section of the book contains John Worth's accounts of a gristmill in Mortonville, East Fallowfield Twp. for 1789-1790 (accounts 1791-1795 kept by his son Thomas). Daybook section contains his son John Worth's accounts of settling estates and guardianships (1831-1861) in West Bradford Twp.

John Worth (1745-1790) was the son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Carter) Worth. He married Mary, daughter of George and Jane Bentley. Their children included Thomas (1774-1821) and John (1782-1878).
